Fun Camps, Elite Training and More!

The goal of our Junior Timberwolves programming is to provide a variety of affordable basketball opportunities to youth in Prince George and Northern BC. This programming includes everything from fun camps for young children to higher level training for serious high school players. All of our programs will be coached and led by UNBC Men's and Women's Basketball coaches and student-athletes. Our UNBC Student-Athletes have reached the highest level of competitive collegiate basketball in Canada, and we believe they are outstanding role models for our young athletes!

Junior Timberwolves Boys Basketball Programs are operated by UNBC Men's Basketball Coach Todd Jordan. Todd grew up in Prince George and played University Basketball at UNBC while earning degrees in commerce and education.

Todd is a NCCP Level 3 certified coach and has a wide variety of coaching experiences, including winning provincial and zone championships in three years coaching with the Duchess Park Secondary Boys Basketball team, Head Coaching the women's basketball program at Quest University, and acting as head coach of the BC U17 boys basketball team at the Canada Games. Todd has been the Head Coach at UNBC since 2010 and strongly values the connection between UNBC Basketball and the youth basketball community in Prince George.

Junior Timberwolves Girls Basketball Programs are operated by UNBC Women's Basketball Coach Sergey Schepotkin. Sergey spent 15 years playing basketball professionally in Russia and Lebanon, and also spent time competing with the USSR national team.

Sergey holds a Master of Arts in education and coaching, and has been heavily involved in coaching at all levels since his retirement from playing in 2000. Sergey's experience includes developing youth programs in Lebanon, Coaching the Men's Basketball team at the American University of Beruit, and eventually working as the Head Coach with the Dynamo Moscow professional women's team in Russia, where he coached multiple players who also played in the WNBA. Sergey has been the Head Coach of the women's basketball team at UNBC since 2013.
